Our Story

At Two Scoops, we believe in the simple joy of ice cream — the way it brings people together, sparks smiles, and makes any day feel a little more special. Located in Bowling Green, Missouri, we’re proud to serve our community and surrounding areas like Hannibal, Troy, and Ralls County with our delicious hand-dipped ice cream, shakes, malts, and more. As one of the few places in the region offering hand-dipped varieties, we’re passionate about giving our customers a treat that feels nostalgic, local, and one-of-a-kind.

Our journey began in a food truck. Olivia, who now owns and operates Two Scoops, managed the mobile version of the business for two years, learning the ropes and falling in love with the way a scoop of ice cream could brighten someone’s entire day. In 2021, Olivia took a bold step forward—she purchased the business and moved it into its current brick-and-mortar location at 1300 S Business 61, #2 in Bowling Green. From that moment on, Two Scoops became more than just a treat stop—it became a staple of the community.

Two Scoops is a family-rooted business with a deep appreciation for entrepreneurship. Olivia comes from a long line of business owners and brings that same passion and commitment to her work each day. Every cone, float, or shake served is made with care, quality, and creativity. We offer 12+ rotating flavors, endless toppings, and signature novelties and creations that customers can’t find anywhere else in the area. Our flavors change out weekly, keeping things fresh and fun for our loyal regulars and new visitors alike.

This shop is hard to see from the road, but drive into the parking lot and you’ll see it. Good place to get a bowl of ice cream. They serve Cedar Crest and had chocolate, vanilla, orange sherbet, mint chip, etc. Service was very friendly and nice. Two scoops of ice cream is huge, and I recommend getting one!
